What it does
A plain grid of images or a stack of embedded videos can take up a lot of room and give visitors little reason to explore. An accordion slider places your media side by side in panels that open as people hover or tap. This plugin builds those sliders inside WordPress. You can add images as well as YouTube and Vimeo videos, and the layout responds to the width, screen size and orientation of the device. Touch and swipe input works on iOS and Android devices.
Each panel can do more than display a picture. You can attach a custom link that opens in the same tab or a new one, or send images and videos to a lightbox for a closer look. From the lightbox, visitors can share images to Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. Deep linking lets you point to a specific image that opens straight in the lightbox. You can add descriptive text to each image, apply a smooth zoom on hover or touch, and pick a full width or centered layout to suit your theme.
Best for

- Bloggers who want interactive image and video galleries
- Online stores featuring products in a visual slider
