What’s new in bbPress Custom User Profiles 1.2.5
Version 1.2.5
Latest
- ImprovedChanged admin notice message text.
- ImprovedChange shortcode output titles.
- ImprovedWidgets compatibility changes.
What it does
Default bbPress profiles are fairly plain, and on a site that already uses UsersWP for member profiles, forum activity can feel disconnected from the rest of a member's page. This add-on pulls that activity into the UsersWP profile. Visitors and members can open a profile and browse the topics someone started, the replies they posted, the threads they favorited and the ones they subscribed to, each in its own tab.
The plugin works as an extension of UsersWP, which needs to be on your site, alongside bbPress. Site admins pick which tabs appear through the profile builder, adding one or several depending on what the community needs. Topic and reply counts also show up in user directories and on profiles, giving a quick sense of how active each member is. The interface is translatable and responsive, so it suits multilingual forums and visitors on phones, tablets and desktops.

- bbPress forums already using UsersWP for member profiles
