What it does
Many WooCommerce store owners end up stacking separate plugins for search, wishlists, waitlists and checkout add-ons. Each one brings its own settings screen and its own code. CommerceKit gathers these jobs into a single plugin, so you configure them in one place. The developer states it works only with the Shoptimizer theme, so it fits stores that already use that theme or plan to switch to it. WooCommerce is required, and the plugin is designed to work alongside its core store functions.
Once it is running, you choose which tools to turn on. Ajax search returns product results as shoppers type. Countdown timers mark limited-time offers, and stock meters show how much of a product is left. Order bumps present an add-on just before checkout. Questions about CommerceKit
Will this work with my current WordPress theme?
Only if you use Shoptimizer. The developer states the plugin works exclusively with the Shoptimizer theme, so stores on other themes should not expect it to function. It also requires WooCommerce to be active on your site.
Can customers get notified when a product is back in stock?
Yes. The waitlist feature lets shoppers sign up on out-of-stock products, and they are notified when those items become available again. This gives interested customers a way to stay in touch instead of leaving empty-handed.
Does it replace separate wishlist and search plugins?
