What it does
Running a directory means juggling a lot of moving parts: people submitting listings, admins reviewing them, members paying for access and visitors browsing by category. This plugin pulls those pieces into one place. Users can add and edit their own listings from the frontend, which keeps much of the data entry off your plate, while you decide whether new listings publish right away or wait for approval. Custom fields let you shape listings around your niche, and category maps with markers help visitors find what they need by location.
On the business side, you can offer free accounts, one-time payments, recurring subscriptions, trials and variable packages, with payments running through PayPal Express Checkout and Stripe. Members get a My Account dashboard for favorites, listings, payment history and subscription status, and they can upgrade or downgrade their plans. Extras such as a booking shortcode, event features and a coupon and deals system suit local guides and niche marketplaces. Can I charge businesses to be listed in my directory?
Yes. You can set up free accounts, one-time payments, recurring subscriptions, trials and variable payment packages. Payments are processed through PayPal Express Checkout or Stripe, and members can upgrade or downgrade their subscription later.
Do I have to approve every listing before it goes live?
That is your choice. Listings can be set to publish straight away or to sit as pending until an admin approves them. You can also control read and write access based on user roles.
