Most digital product sellers guess at where their buyers come from. Analytics tools show traffic, but they rarely tell you that a customer heard about you on a podcast or from a friend. This plugin asks the question directly at checkout, where nearly every buyer passes through. You set up the list of acquisition methods in the settings, and customers pick one before completing their purchase. If they choose other, they can type in their own source.

The answers stay attached to each order. The acquisition method appears in the orders export, and an email tag lets you include it in the admin order notification email, so you see the source as sales come in. You can also hide the survey for logged-in users who are already customers, which keeps repeat buyers from answering the same question again. Labels are translation-ready for stores that run in other languages. It requires Easy Digital Downloads.
