What it does
Large blogs, product catalogs and resource libraries get hard to browse once the content piles up. This add-on connects FacetWP's filtering to native WordPress listing blocks such as Query Loop and Latest Posts. You build the listing with blocks as usual, then add facets that let visitors refine what they see. Results update through AJAX, so the list changes without a full page reload, and you can configure and style facets inside the block editor.
It works with both classic and block themes and can sit alongside page builders such as Elementor, Beaver Builder and Bricks. Store owners can try WooCommerce product filtering, which is currently in beta. Facet types include checkboxes, dropdowns, sliders, date ranges and star ratings. Filter selections are reflected in the URL, and developers get hooks and filters for custom behavior and integrations with other plugins and themes.
Best for
- Content-heavy blogs built with the block editor
- WooCommerce stores wanting filterable product listings
- Resource libraries and directories with many posts
