What it does
When a site runs in several languages, filtering can get messy. A visitor browsing in Spanish might see English posts in their results, or facet labels that were never translated. This add-on solves that by indexing each post along with its assigned language, then showing only the content that matches the active language. Visitors get filters and results that make sense in the language they chose, and you avoid mixed-language listings on your filterable pages.
The plugin sits on top of an existing FacetWP setup and works with WPML, Polylang and Polylang Pro. Language tagging happens during indexing, so there is little extra to manage once it is in place. Dynamic strings inside your facets can be translated too, which covers the interactive parts of the interface along with post content. All FacetWP facet types, including checkboxes, dropdowns, sliders and search facets, adapt to each language. Developers also get hooks and filters for adjusting the multilingual behavior on custom projects.
