FacetWP - Flyout menu
This is an add-on plugin by FacetWP LLC that puts your FacetWP filters into a flyout sidebar for mobile visitors. It slides out from the side of the screen when a visitor taps a "Show filters" button, so filtering a listing on a phone feels tidy and manageable.

What it does
Filter-heavy pages can get crowded on a phone. A long column of checkboxes, dropdowns and sliders pushes the actual results far down the page, and visitors have to scroll past everything before they see a single listing. This add-on moves those filters into a panel that stays hidden until it is needed. On smaller screens a "Show filters" button appears, and tapping it opens a sidebar that slides out from the side of the screen with the filters inside.
The flyout reads the facets already on your page and shows them in the same order, so there is no separate menu to build. It leaves out Pager, Map and User Selections facets to keep the panel focused on actual filters. It works with standard and many advanced FacetWP facet types, and you can adjust its styling to match your design. It suits any filtered content, from cars and recipes to state parks, and it can be used in layouts built with Elementor, Beaver Builder or Bricks.
Best for
- Sites using FacetWP to filter listings or catalogs
- Online stores with many product filters
- Directories and recipe or vehicle listing sites

Questions about FacetWP - Flyout menu
Do I need FacetWP for this to work?
Yes. This is an add-on made specifically for FacetWP. It takes the facets you have already set up with FacetWP and displays them inside a mobile flyout sidebar, so it has nothing to show without FacetWP facets on the page.
Do I have to rebuild my filters for the flyout?
No. The flyout automatically includes the facets available on the page and keeps them in the same order they appear there. Pager, Map and User Selections facets are excluded so the panel only holds filters.
Will it match the look of my site?
The add-on allows styling adjustments, so you can tune the appearance of the flyout menu to fit your branding and design. It also works inside layouts made with Elementor, Beaver Builder and Bricks.
How do mobile visitors open the filters?
On smaller screens a "Show filters" button appears. Tapping it opens the sidebar, which slides out from the side of the screen with your facets ready to use.
