What it does
When a catalog holds many items in many shades, visitors need a quick way to narrow things down by color. A text list of color names works, but a row of swatches is easier to scan. This add-on gives FacetWP a dedicated color facet that reads color values from a field you choose and displays them as swatches visitors can click. It suits fashion collections, home decor stores, car listings, recipe databases and portfolio galleries.
You connect the facet to a data source such as taxonomy terms, custom fields or other metadata. From there you decide whether picking several colors narrows the results or widens them. Clicking a selected swatch a second time clears it. The facet works alongside other FacetWP facet types, so color can sit next to categories, sizes or other filters. It works with WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields, Elementor and Beaver Builder, and settings for parent terms and modifiers give extra control over which values appear.

Clickable color swatches
Color values from your chosen data source are shown as rectangular swatches, letting visitors filter by color at a glance instead of reading a list of names.
Choice of multi-select behavior
Decide whether selecting multiple swatches narrows the results to items matching all colors or broadens them to include items matching any selected color.
Second click to reset
Visitors can click a selected swatch again to clear that choice, which makes it quick to adjust a search without hunting for a reset button.
