Pods is a popular way to add custom post types and custom fields to WordPress, but that data is only useful to visitors if they can sort through it. Without a bridge between the two plugins, filtering by Pods fields usually means writing custom queries or code. This integration makes Pods meta fields available as data sources inside FacetWP, so you can set up filters for directories, catalogs and content portals through the FacetWP interface.
Once it is active, FacetWP indexes your Pods fields and you can pick them when creating facets such as checkboxes, dropdowns, sliders and date ranges. The same fields show up in the FacetWP Listing Builder, where you design how filtered results look using customizable templates.
