What it does
By default, FacetWP refreshes results each time a visitor changes a facet. On sites with lots of listings or several filters, that can feel busy, and some site owners would rather keep filters on one page and results on another. This add-on puts filter application under manual control. Visitors choose checkboxes, dropdowns, sliders or other facets at their own pace, then submit when they are ready to see matching content.
The add-on can also send visitors from a filtering page, such as a homepage or landing page, to a separate results page. Their selected facet data travels with them, so the results page shows exactly what they picked. You set the destination URL yourself, which suits directory sites, online stores, recipe collections and other listing-heavy projects. It works with page builders like Elementor, Beaver Builder and Bricks, as well as custom WP_Query templates, and developers can adjust its behavior through hooks.
