What it does
Visitors often keep a dozen browser tabs open, and your site's tab can easily get lost among them. This plugin gives that tab some movement. You can animate or scroll the main title, and when someone moves to a different tab, the title changes to an alternative message of your choosing, such as a friendly note asking them to come back. The alternative title can be animated too, so it stands out in a crowded tab bar.
The second part of the plugin is a news ticker for breaking news, updates or announcements. You add it with a shortcode, so it can go into posts, pages or other areas that accept shortcodes. Everything is configured from an options panel, which means no coding is needed to set the titles, messages or ticker content. The plugin is lightweight, the ticker is responsive across desktops and phones, the graphics are retina ready, and documentation with step-by-step guides is included.
Best for
- News websites posting breaking stories and updates
- Bloggers who want their tab to stand out
- Content sites sharing announcements or promotions

Questions about Fancy Title
What happens to my tab title when a visitor leaves the page?

The ticker is added with a shortcode. You can place it in posts, pages or any area of your site that accepts shortcodes, and use it for breaking news, updates or announcements.
Do I need coding skills to set it up?
No. The plugin has an options panel where you configure the main title, the alternative title and the ticker without touching code. Included documentation with step-by-step guides helps with configuration.
Will the ticker look right on phones?
Yes. The plugin uses a responsive design so the ticker displays properly on desktops and smartphones, and its retina ready graphics stay crisp on high-resolution screens.
