What it does
Basic form plugins handle a contact page well, but they get awkward once a form needs branching questions, several steps, file uploads or payments. This plugin works on top of the core Formidable Forms plugin, so that needs to be on your site first. You design forms with a drag and drop builder, add conditional logic to show or hide fields based on answers, and split long forms into pages so visitors move through them one section at a time.
After submissions arrive, you can search, filter and export entries from the WordPress dashboard, which helps with follow-ups. Collected data can also appear on the front end as charts, graphs or reports. Forms can connect to email marketing services, CRMs and payment gateways such as PayPal and Stripe. Styling options and CSS let you match your branding, and developers can extend things with custom code and API access.
Best for
- Businesses collecting leads, applications or detailed customer data
- Nonprofits and creators accepting payments or donations through forms
- Developers building custom form workflows for client sites
Features
Drag and drop builder
Arrange fields visually to create custom forms without writing code, from short contact forms to longer surveys and applications.
Conditional logic
Show or hide fields depending on what a visitor enters, so each person only sees the questions that apply to them.
Multi-page and multi-step forms
Break long forms into separate sections so visitors can complete them step by step instead of facing one long page.
Charts, graphs and reports
Display form submissions on your site as charts, graphs or reports, useful for sharing survey results or tracking responses.
Payment collection
Accept payments or donations through your forms with PayPal, Stripe and other payment platforms.
File upload fields
Let visitors attach images, documents and other file types as part of their form submissions.
Entry management
Search, filter and export form entries directly from the WordPress dashboard to keep track of submissions and follow-ups.
Styling and spam protection
Match forms to your site with built-in style options and CSS, while built-in anti-spam tools help block junk submissions.

Questions about Formidable Forms Pro
Does this work on its own or do I need another plugin?
It builds on the core Formidable Forms plugin, which needs to be active on your site. The Pro features then add advanced tools such as conditional logic, multi-step forms, payment collection, file uploads and data visualization to that base builder.
Can I take payments through my forms?
Yes. Forms can connect with PayPal, Stripe and other payment platforms, so you can accept payments or donations as part of a submission. This suits order forms, registration forms with fees or donation pages.
Can I show form results publicly on my site?
You can display collected submissions as charts, graphs or reports on the front end of your site. That works well for poll results, survey summaries or any page where you want visitors to see aggregated responses.
Will forms fit my site's design?
Forms are responsive and work on phones as well as desktops. You can adjust their look with the built-in style options, and add your own CSS when you need finer control to match your branding.
Is Formidable Forms Pro free?
The code of Formidable Forms Pro is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Formidable Forms Pro is this?
Version 7.0, released Oct 15, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Formidable Forms Pro?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Formidable Forms Pro automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
What does Formidable Forms Pro need?
Formidable Forms Pro needs Formidable Forms installed and active.
