Default WordPress registration asks for very little and offers few ways to change it. Formidable Registration fills that gap for sites running Formidable Forms. You build a registration form like any other Formidable form, choosing exactly which fields to collect, and the plugin turns each submission into a WordPress user account. That makes it a good fit for membership sites, online communities and any site where visitors need to sign up before they can take part.
Once a form is in place, you control what happens after someone registers. New users can be given a specific role automatically, and confirmation emails or admin alerts go out on their own. Conditional logic shows or hides fields based on earlier answers, and validation rules and anti-spam measures help keep fake signups out. Users can also edit their profiles from the front end, and developers get hooks and filters for custom workflows.
