What it does
When form entries only land in the WordPress dashboard or an email inbox, people who spend their day in Discord can miss them. This add-on closes that gap by posting submissions straight to Discord. You set up feeds for a form, point each feed at a Discord channel through an Incoming Webhook, and choose how the message looks. Messages can be rich embeds with a title, description, color, footer, timestamp and mapped fields shown inline or stacked.
Delivery runs in the background, so a slow webhook response does not hold up the visitor's redirect after they submit. If Discord rate limits a request, the add-on retries through WP-Cron with increasing delays and respects Discord's Retry-After response. Each entry records its delivery status and gets a note for every attempt. From the entries list you can see a Discord Delivery column, resend a single entry, or resend many at once with a bulk action. It suits support teams, event coordinators and community managers running Discord servers.
Best for
- Discord communities collecting feedback, surveys or event registrations
- Support teams that triage form requests inside Discord
- Gravity Forms sites that want form alerts outside email
Features
Create feeds that send Gravity Forms submissions to Discord channels through Incoming Webhooks, so different forms or feeds can post to different channels.
Format posts as Discord embeds with a title, description, color, footer and timestamp, plus mapped form fields displayed inline or stacked.
Add rules to each feed so only submissions that match your conditions trigger a Discord message, keeping channels free of irrelevant alerts.
Override the bot username and avatar on each feed, which helps people tell different kinds of form alerts apart at a glance.
Messages are sent asynchronously, so webhook latency does not block the submission redirect your visitors see after completing a form.
Failed sends are retried through WP-Cron with exponential backoff, and the add-on honors Discord's Retry-After header when it hits rate limits.
A Discord Delivery column in the entries list, entry notes per attempt, single-entry Resend and a Resend to Discord bulk action let you track and fix deliveries.
Questions about Gravity Forms Discord Add-On
Does this need Gravity Forms to work?
Yes. It is an add-on for Gravity Forms and works with the forms you build there. You connect each form to Discord by creating feeds that post submissions to a channel through a Discord Incoming Webhook.
Can I send different forms to different Discord channels?
Yes. Delivery is feed-based and each feed uses its own webhook, so you can route forms to separate channels. Per-feed conditional logic also lets you send only certain submissions, and you can set a different bot username and avatar for each feed.
What happens if a message fails to reach Discord?
The add-on retries through WP-Cron with exponential backoff and respects Discord's Retry-After response when rate limited. Every entry shows its delivery status and gets a note per attempt, and you can resend a single entry or use the Resend to Discord bulk action.
Will sending to Discord slow down my form submissions?
Messages are processed asynchronously, so the time it takes Discord's webhook to respond does not block the redirect visitors see after submitting a form.
