What’s new in Gravity Forms Stripe 7.0.0.1

Version 7.0.0.1 Latest
  • NewAdded a note to record the user who initiates a request refund from the entry.
  • FixedFixed an issue that prevented the file theme-foundation-admin.min.css from being loaded in the form editor.
  • FixedFixed an issue where the Payment Element ignores the Post Payment Actions setting, causing add-on feeds to be processed before payment is received.

What it does

Taking payments on a WordPress site often means bolting on a separate checkout system. This add-on keeps payment collection inside your forms instead. You link your Stripe account, add payment details to a form, and visitors can pay by major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH Debits, Link or regional payment options. Subscriptions can run on fixed or open-ended durations with custom intervals, and you can add free trials or sign-up fees to a plan.

Once payments are flowing, sales reports, subscription records, payment details and refunds are available in your WordPress dashboard. Customers can pause, cancel or manage their own subscriptions from their WordPress profile, which cuts down on manual requests. For reservations or pre-orders, you can authorize a card first and capture the funds later. It also supports Stripe Sandboxes for testing, automatic webhook setup, and notifications when a payment takes unusually long to process.

Best for

  • Small businesses selling products or services through forms
  • Nonprofits collecting one-time or recurring donations
  • Subscription services that bill on regular intervals

Features

One-time and recurring payments

Sell products or services with single charges or subscriptions, using fixed or open-ended durations and intervals you set to match your billing model.

Multiple payment methods

Accept major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH Debits, Link payments and various regional payment options from the same form.

Dashboard payment management

Review sales reports, subscriptions, payment details and refunds inside your WordPress dashboard so you can track activity without switching tools.

Customer subscription controls

Customers can manage, pause or cancel their own subscriptions from their WordPress profile, which reduces the number of change requests you handle.

Authorize and capture later

Authorize a payment when the form is submitted and capture the funds at a later time, which suits reservations and pre-orders.

Free trials and sign-up fees

Add free trial periods to subscription plans and charge registration or sign-up fees directly within your forms.

Stripe App entry view

Look up Gravity Forms entries from your Stripe account dashboard to connect payment records with the form submissions behind them.

Failed payment tracking

The Stripe Payment Element field creates an entry even when a payment fails, so you keep a record of unsuccessful attempts.

Questions about Gravity Forms Stripe

Which payment methods can my customers use?

The add-on accepts major credit cards, digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, ACH Debits, Link payments and various regional payment options. Stripe Link can also auto-fill saved payment and shipping details for returning customers.

Can I offer subscriptions with a free trial?

Yes. You can set up recurring subscriptions with fixed or open-ended durations and custom intervals, add a free trial to a plan, and include a registration or sign-up fee in the same form.

Do I need Gravity Forms to use this?

Yes. This is an add-on for Gravity Forms, so it works with forms you build in that plugin. You also need a Stripe account to link to it so payments can be processed.

Can I test payments before going live?

The add-on supports authenticating with Stripe Sandboxes, so you can run test transactions on your forms. It also configures and validates webhooks automatically, which are needed for the Card Element and Payment Element fields.

Is Gravity Forms Stripe free?

The code of Gravity Forms Stripe is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.

Which version of Gravity Forms Stripe is this?

Version 7.0.0.1, released Oct 12, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.

How do I update Gravity Forms Stripe?

Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Gravity Forms Stripe automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
