What it does
Text boxes and file uploads work well for most form data, but some submissions are better as video. Testimonials, job applications, support requests and customer feedback often say more when a person can simply talk to the camera. This add-on gives Gravity Forms a dedicated recording field, so visitors capture and send a clip without leaving the form or juggling separate apps and file transfers.
Different devices produce different video file formats, which can make playback a headache. Pipe handles that by converting recordings into MP4 files that play across devices. Recordings are stored in Pipe's secure cloud storage, or you can push them to your own storage if you prefer to keep files in house. Adding the field takes no coding. Each form holds one Pipe Recorder field, and the field can't be placed inside a repeater or duplicated in the form editor.
