What it does
Copying order or signup details from a form into an accounting tool by hand takes time and invites typos. This add-on handles that step for you. You map form fields to FreshBooks client and invoice data, including tax fields and item names, and each matching submission produces the records automatically. Conditional logic lets you decide when an invoice should be created, so only the right entries reach your books. Everything is configured inside the Gravity Forms settings you already use.
The plugin was built for the FreshBooks Classic platform, and FreshBooks has since discontinued the Classic product and its API. That makes it most useful for sites still maintaining an older setup or for developers studying how form data can feed an invoicing system. For those cases, it offers filters such as gform_freshbooks_args_pre_create to change invoice data before it is sent, plus logging to follow what happened with each invoice. It also includes translations for Hebrew, Hindi, Japanese and Turkish.
