What’s new in Gravity Forms Notion Add-On 0.1.0-alpha.2
- FixedFixed an issue where selecting Custom on the Notion property column in the database property map sent an invalid property name to Notion.
- ImprovedLabs packaging: Labs plugin URI and Requires Plugins header, in-product Labs notice, uninstall option cleanup, translation template, and Code Quality CI (PHPCS, PHPUnit, PHPStan, Semgrep).
- FixedFixed a critical error when saving Notion plugin settings for the first time (no stored settings yet).
- ImprovedUse a query-string-free HTTPS admin.php redirect URI so Notion accepts local Live Link / public HTTPS hosts.
- SecurityMask the OAuth client secret field on plugin settings.
- RemovedKeep the private rgcodestandards repo out of composer.json so Hal `composer install --no-dev` can package without GitHub SSH.
What it does
Many teams run projects, enquiries or applications out of Notion, while their forms live on a WordPress site. That usually means someone reads a form notification and copies the details into Notion by hand. This add-on removes that step. A contact form can fill a database of leads, and an application form can create a separate page for each applicant. Each submission arrives organized and ready to use, with no cleanup or re-entry needed.
You connect your Notion workspace through OAuth from the WordPress admin, so there are no tokens to manage by hand. From there you set up the integration on the specific forms that should reach Notion and leave the others alone. Form fields are mapped to the properties in your Notion database. Where your Notion permissions allow it, pages can also be created at workspace level, which gives you more choice in where submissions are filed.
Best for
- Teams that manage projects or leads in Notion
- Sites collecting applications that need one page per applicant
- Agencies linking client WordPress forms to Notion workspaces
Features
Route form submissions straight into a chosen Notion database, where each entry becomes a structured record your team can sort and work with.
Generate a Notion page from a submission when an entry deserves its own document instead of a single database row, such as an application.
Authorize your Notion workspace from the WordPress admin through OAuth, so you avoid copying and managing access tokens by hand.
Create pages at the workspace level when your Notion permissions allow it, giving you flexibility in where submissions are filed.
Match your form fields to the properties in your Notion database, including custom property names, so data lands in the right columns.
Turn on the integration only for the forms that should reach Notion, leaving the rest of your forms working exactly as before.
Cut out the step of copying details from a form notification into Notion, since submissions arrive in your workspace already organized.
Questions about Gravity Forms Notion Add-On
Can submissions go into a Notion database and also create pages?
Yes. The add-on can send entries into a chosen Notion database as structured records, or create a Notion page from a submission when an entry works better as its own document. Where your Notion permissions allow it, pages can also be created at workspace level.
How does the add-on connect to my Notion account?
It uses an OAuth connection that you authorize from the WordPress admin. This means you do not have to generate and paste access tokens by hand, and the client secret field in the plugin settings is masked.
Do all of my forms have to send data to Notion?
No. The integration is configured per form, so you choose which forms should reach Notion. Any form you leave unconfigured keeps working as normal without sending anything to your workspace.
What do I need on my site to use it?
It is an add-on for Gravity Forms, so you need Gravity Forms running on your WordPress site, along with a Notion workspace that has the database or pages you want submissions to go into.
Is Gravity Forms Notion Add-On free?
