What it does
Many sites still collect signatures by asking people to print a document, sign it and send back a scan. That is slow for the person signing and messy for whoever has to file it. This add-on moves the signature into the form itself. You drop a signature field into any new or existing Gravity Form, and visitors sign right on the page using a touchscreen, touchpad or mouse. No extra browser plugins are needed, so it works on phones, tablets, laptops and desktops.
When a form is submitted, the signature is converted into a PNG image and stored on your server. You can view it in the entry details next to the other answers, which makes it easy to check later. When an entry is deleted, its signature file is removed too. For people who cannot draw a signature easily, there is an option to type it instead. It suits contracts, agreements, consent forms and approval requests on sites already using Gravity Forms.

Automatic file cleanup
When you delete a form entry, the matching signature image file is deleted as well, so old signature files do not pile up on your server.
