What it does
A consent checkbox with policy wording pasted in by hand tends to drift out of date. Policies get revised, but the text on each form stays the same, and you end up asking visitors to agree to wording that no longer matches. This add-on replaces that setup with a dedicated consent field whose links point to your Termageddon-hosted policies and update automatically as those policies change, so you no longer edit consent text on every form after each revision.
The other half of the job is record keeping. Every submission logs the consent version that was shown at the time, which gives you a dated trail of what each person agreed to, beyond the fact that a box was ticked. When your policies are updated later, earlier consents stay tied to the wording that was actually presented. You can add the field to forms you already run without rebuilding them, and you configure it in your WordPress dashboard alongside your other form settings.
