What it does
Many form workflows end with data that needs to go somewhere else: a custom CRM, a mailing list, a payment system or an in-house app. When there is no ready-made add-on for that service, moving the data usually means custom code. This add-on fills that gap by sending submission data, such as user inputs, payment information and entry metadata, to the endpoint you specify whenever a form is submitted.
Setup happens inside Gravity Forms, with no code required. You pick the request method, choose JSON or form encoding, add custom headers and decide which fields or values go into the request. Conditional logic controls which submissions fire a webhook, and you can add more than one webhook to a single form so the same entry reaches several services at once.
Best for
- Gravity Forms sites connecting to a custom CRM
- Developers sending form entries to in-house APIs
- Agencies automating form data flows for clients
Features
Send requests using GET, POST, PUT, PATCH or DELETE, so you can match whatever method the receiving endpoint expects.
Choose JSON or form encoding for the request body to suit the format the external system accepts.
Define your own request headers, which is useful when an API needs authentication details or specific content settings.
Send all fields, only specific form fields, entry metadata or custom values built with merge tags, so each request carries only the data you choose.
Set conditions based on form input so a webhook only fires for submissions that match, keeping irrelevant entries out of your other systems.
Configure more than one webhook on a single form to push the same submission to different services at the same time.
Create and manage webhooks from a settings screen within Gravity Forms, without writing custom integration code.

Questions about Gravity Forms Webhooks
Does this work without Gravity Forms?
No. It is an add-on that extends Gravity Forms, so you need Gravity Forms on your site. The webhook settings live inside the Gravity Forms interface for each form.
Can I send data to a service that has no Gravity Forms add-on?
Yes. That is its main purpose. You can send submission data to any URL or API endpoint, choosing the request method, encoding format, headers and fields so the request matches what the service expects.
Can I limit which submissions trigger a webhook?
Yes. Conditional logic lets you set rules based on what a user enters in the form. Only submissions that meet those conditions send data, so other entries stay put.
Can one form send data to more than one place?
Yes. You can set up multiple webhooks on the same form, each with its own endpoint and settings, so one submission can reach several services at once.
Is Gravity Forms Webhooks free?
The code of Gravity Forms Webhooks is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Gravity Forms Webhooks is this?
Version 1.7.0, released Apr 11, 2025. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Gravity Forms Webhooks?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Gravity Forms Webhooks automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
