What it does
When a page loads in pieces, visitors can see half-built layouts, shifting images and flashes of unstyled content. A preloader covers that moment with a loading screen that stays up until the page is ready, then gives way to the finished content. This plugin handles that job inside WordPress and lets you shape the loading screen to fit your brand, using a settings panel where you can preview changes as you make them, with no coding required.
You start by choosing from several preloader animation styles, then change colors, sizes, animation and text. You can add custom loading messages or your logo, and set delay and timeout values so the screen stays up as long as you want. Display rules let you show the preloader on selected post types, including pages, and limit it to once per session.
