Mega Posts and custom Posts Display addresses this by giving you 5 post display types, 3 carousel types and 2 news ticker displays. Each one can pull from regular WordPress posts or from your own custom post types, so a portfolio, a product list or a news section can all use the same set of layouts.
You control which content appears and in what order with sorting options such as ID, author, title, date and views. A main color setting with opacity control helps the output match your branding. Shortcode tabs and columns let you organize sections without code, and four widgets cover posts, WooCommerce products, a Flickr gallery and contact details. The output is responsive and retina ready, the plugin ships with .po and .mo files for translation, and a video tutorial walks through setup and customization.
