What it does
Hosting lessons is only part of running an online course. Once students start taking quizzes and submitting assignments, instructors need a way to record scores, see who is falling behind and share results with learners. This addon fills that gap inside MemberPress Courses. Instead of tracking grades in a separate spreadsheet, you assign and update grades for assignments, quizzes and exams right alongside your course content, and the gradebook calculates final grades for you.
The gradebook works only with MemberPress Courses, which must already be installed on your site. You can adjust its settings to match different course formats, grading scales and evaluation criteria. Instructors can follow each student's progress and generate reports on achievement across a course, while students can view their own grades and progress. It also handles quizzes that pull random questions from a question bank, showing each student's actual questions during manual grading. The interface is responsive, so it works on phones, tablets and desktops.
