What it does
Running a membership site usually means keeping two lists in step: the people who belong to each membership and the people you email. Doing that by hand with exports and imports gets tedious and falls out of date quickly. This add-on connects MemberPress with MailPoet so member data and membership levels move across automatically. Members are tagged according to their purchases and current status, which gives you ready-made segments for course updates, renewal reminders, exclusive content or offers aimed at a specific plan.
Once the connection is in place, you design newsletters and drip campaigns in MailPoet's email builder and send them to the segments that match each membership. Automated messages such as welcome emails, renewal notifications and membership updates can go out based on what members do. It suits subscription course sites, paid content portals and private communities that already use MemberPress and want their email handled inside WordPress. MailPoet needs to be active on the site for the integration to work.
