What it does
Many membership sites are meant for a specific group: employees, students, clients or adults only. Leaving registration open to anyone means unwanted signups and extra cleanup. This add-on lets you set eligibility rules at the registration step, so people who do not meet your criteria cannot create a membership. It suits training portals, VIP groups, course sites and communities with age limits, and it can support offers aimed at select groups such as students with an .edu address or staff from a partner company.
The add-on works inside MemberPress and is built for MemberPress Pro users. You can allow or block registrations from particular IP addresses or ranges, limit signups to approved email domains, allow or block individual email addresses and require a minimum age. Email and domain checks ignore letter case, so an address typed with capital letters is still matched correctly. You can combine these rules to fit how your site handles access.
Best for
- Employee training portals limited to company email domains
- Student communities offering access to .edu email holders
- Adult-only or age-restricted membership communities
Features
Allow or block registrations from specific IP addresses or ranges to cut down on fraudulent signups and control where registrations can come from.
Limit signups to approved email domains, such as .edu addresses for students or a company domain for organizational access.
Allow or block registrations from particular email addresses, useful for granting VIP access to chosen people or keeping specific users out.
Set a minimum age requirement during signup to help meet legal restrictions and keep adult-only communities limited to the right audience.
All email and domain restriction checks ignore uppercase and lowercase differences, so valid members are not rejected because of how they typed their address.
Runs as an add-on to MemberPress Pro, adding registration controls to the membership setup you already use.

Questions about MemberPress Registration Restrictions
Does this work without MemberPress?
No. It is an add-on built for MemberPress Pro users. It adds registration rules to an existing MemberPress membership site and does not function as a standalone membership plugin.
Can I limit signups to people from one company or school?
Yes. Email domain filtering lets you restrict registration to approved domains, such as your company domain or .edu addresses for students. Anyone registering with an address outside those domains will not be accepted.
Can I block specific people or locations from registering?
You can allow or block individual email addresses, and you can allow or block specific IP addresses or ranges. These options help stop fraudulent signups and control where registrations come from.
Will capital letters in an email address cause problems?
No. Email and domain checks are case-insensitive, so an address entered with uppercase letters is matched the same way as one in lowercase.
