What it does
Some images need explaining. A product photo has parts worth pointing out, a recipe shot has ingredients, and a diagram in a user manual has labels that crowd the picture. This addon solves that by letting you pin hotspots to specific areas of an image. Visitors see an animated pointer and open a tooltip to read the details, so the image stays clean while the information sits right where it belongs.
You work inside the drag-and-drop interface of the MotoPress Content Editor, so no coding is needed. Add as many hotspots as an image calls for, choose whether tooltips show always, on hover or on click, and set them to appear above, below or beside each point. Tooltip content is written in a TinyMCE visual editor, and color pickers plus preset themes let you match the look of your site.

Do I need the MotoPress Content Editor to use this?
Yes. This is an addon for the MotoPress Content Editor, and hotspots are added and managed through that page builder's drag-and-drop interface. If your site uses a different builder, this addon is not designed for that setup.
How many hotspots can I put on one image?
There is no set limit. You can add as many hotspots as an image needs, which makes it practical for detailed product photos, labeled illustrations, interactive maps and step-by-step instructional images.
Can tooltips include links or images?
