What it does
Many web hosts cap how much email a site can send, and sending newsletters straight from the server can run into those limits quickly. This addon solves that by handing delivery to Mailgun, an external mail service. You keep building and managing campaigns inside the Newsletter plugin as usual, and the actual sending happens through your Mailgun account. Bounce management in Newsletter helps you keep your list clean over time, so you are not repeatedly mailing addresses that no longer work.
The addon fits sites that already use Newsletter for subscription forms, scheduled newsletters and autoresponder series. Newsletter includes a drag and drop builder with more than 25 content blocks, subscriber segmentation, campaign tracking for opens and clicks, and list import and export. It also connects with form builders such as Contact Form 7, Ninja Forms, Elementor, Gravity Forms and WPForms. With the Mailgun addon in place, all of that email output is routed through one external service.
