What it does
Running a membership site usually means keeping two lists in step: the people who pay for access and the people who get your emails. Doing that by hand gets messy as members sign up, upgrade, renew or lapse. This addon ties membership sign-ups to your newsletter so new members can be added to the right mailing lists at registration, with subscription set as optional, mandatory or turned off.
You map each membership level to the subscriber lists that should be switched on or off for it. When a member changes level through an upgrade, expiration or renewal, their lists update to match. Existing members can be imported in bulk, creating or updating profiles without sending repeat welcome emails, and background processing handles large member bases. From there you can use the Newsletter plugin's automation, targeting, autoresponders and reporting.
