What it does
By default, WordPress sends email through your web host, and shared hosting mail servers often put limits on bulk sending. That can be a problem once your subscriber list grows. This addon lets the Newsletter plugin hand its messages to an SMTP service such as Amazon SES, Mailgun, SendGrid or SMTP.com, or to an SMTP server you configure yourself. Mail then leaves through a provider built for sending email, which gives you more control over how your campaigns are delivered.
The addon works inside the core Newsletter plugin, so the tools you already use stay in place. Autoresponders, campaign tracking and subscription management keep working as before, and the change happens at the sending step. It fits small blogs and larger WooCommerce shops alike, and anyone who sends regular newsletters to a list of subscribers and wants those emails delivered through an external mail service instead of the host's server.
