What it does
Memes are a common way people share humor and commentary online, and many site owners want their audience to make them on the site itself. Without a built-in tool, visitors have to leave for another app, then come back to post their work. This plugin keeps the whole process on your WordPress site. Visitors upload their own photos or start from a template, add captions, adjust fonts and finish a meme without going anywhere else.
Setup works through shortcodes, so you can place the meme generator on any page or post you choose. The interface uses drag and drop and customizable templates, and the layout is responsive, so it works on desktops, tablets and phones. Once a meme is done, users can save it to their device or share it directly on social media. It fits humor blogs, community sites and any site that welcomes user-generated content.
Best for
- Humor blogs and entertainment websites
- Community sites built around user-generated content
- Site owners wanting more visitor interaction
