What it does
When a site is under construction or offline for maintenance, visitors still arrive, and a blank screen or broken layout leaves a poor impression. This plugin lets you switch on a coming soon or maintenance page that explains what is happening and keeps people informed with your own message. You can also design a custom 404 page, so visitors who hit a missing link see something useful instead of a generic error screen.
Pages are built visually with a drag and drop editor, so no coding is needed. You can start from a pre-built template, then add blocks such as headers, countdown timers, calls to action and subscription forms. Lead forms connect to email services like Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign and ConvertKit, reCAPTCHA helps keep spam out, and subscriber tools let you manage the list you collect. Designs are responsive, so pages adapt to desktop, tablet and phone screens.
Best for
- New websites that need a holding page before launch
- Site owners running scheduled maintenance or redesigns
- Freelancers and agencies building client sites behind a placeholder
Features
Drag and drop builder
Design coming soon and maintenance pages visually by dragging elements into place, with no code to write and no need to touch your theme files.
Pre-built page templates
Pick from a range of ready-made coming soon page designs and customize the layout, text and styling to match your brand.
Coming soon, maintenance and 404
Turn on a coming soon page, a maintenance mode page or a custom 404 page, each with your own messaging for visitors.
Email marketing connections
Send signups from your forms to services such as Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign and ConvertKit to start building an email list before launch.
reCAPTCHA spam protection
Add reCAPTCHA to lead forms to filter out bots and spam submissions, so the contacts you collect are more likely to be real people.
Countdown timers and blocks
Use blocks like headers, countdown timers, calls to action and subscription forms to build pages that tell visitors when and how to come back.
Responsive layouts
Pages adjust to desktop, tablet and smartphone screens, so your holding page looks right whichever device a visitor uses.
Section background videos
Set a video as the background of a section to add motion and visual interest to your coming soon or landing page design.

Questions about SeedProd Pro
Do I need to know how to code to build pages with it?
No. Pages are built with a drag and drop editor and ready-made templates. You add and arrange blocks such as headers, countdown timers and signup forms visually, so beginners can put together a finished page without writing any code.
Can I collect email addresses while my site is offline?
Yes. You can add subscription forms to your coming soon page and connect them to email services such as Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign and ConvertKit. Built-in subscriber management tools also help you keep track of the people who sign up before launch.
What types of pages can I create besides a coming soon page?
Along with coming soon pages, the plugin handles maintenance mode pages for when your site is temporarily offline and custom 404 pages for visitors who land on a missing link. Each can carry its own design and message.
How does it deal with spam signups?
Lead forms can use reCAPTCHA protection, which helps block bots and automated spam submissions. This keeps your subscriber list cleaner and reduces the number of fake entries you need to remove later.
Is SeedProd Pro free?
The code of SeedProd Pro is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of SeedProd Pro is this?
Version 6.19.8, released Feb 19, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update SeedProd Pro?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of SeedProd Pro automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
