What it does
Photographers and artists who sell digital media often need to hand files to certain people without charging them. A client may need proofs from a shoot, a subscriber may have earned a bonus gallery, or you may want to give away a few images to attract visitors. This addon handles those cases inside Sell Media. You can make a single product or a whole gallery free for everyone, or lock it behind a password so only the people you choose can download the original files.
Access settings live in the WordPress admin, where you assign and edit passwords for individual products or entire collections. When a client enters the right password, they can view, magnify and download images directly, skipping the usual checkout. The addon works alongside the rest of Sell Media, including print sales, file protection, watermarking and sales reporting, so your paid products and your free or private ones sit in the same store. It is meant to work with any WordPress theme.
