What it does
Standard slide transitions can feel flat when a site is meant to look creative. Slider Revolution Distortion Addon gives Slider Revolution 7 a set of distortion effects that change how images and layers move and blend. You can add effects such as waves, ripples and turbulence to produce animations that suit your content, from surreal motion to subtle ripples.
The addon works inside Slider Revolution, so it needs the Slider Revolution plugin to run. You apply distortion to individual layers or to whole slide backgrounds, and you can pair it with existing slide transitions. Intensity and speed are adjustable, which helps the motion match your branding. It fits portfolios, product displays and agency sites.
Best for
- Portfolio sites that need distinctive slide animations
- Creative agencies building visual sliders for clients
- Product display pages using Slider Revolution 7
Features
Built for Slider Revolution 7
The addon plugs into Slider Revolution 7 and uses its familiar interface, so you add distortion effects from the editor you already work in.
Multiple distortion styles
Pick from several effects, including waves, ripples and turbulence, to give each slide a visual treatment that fits the content it carries.
Intensity and speed controls
Adjust how strong a distortion is and how fast it animates, so the motion matches your branding and design preferences.
Layer distortions
Apply an effect to a single layer in a slide, which lets you animate one element while the rest of the slide stays still.
Background distortions
Distort an entire slide background when you want the whole scene to ripple or warp as part of the animation.
Works with slide transitions
Combine distortion with the transitions already available in Slider Revolution to build animations that differ from the standard options.
GPU-accelerated animation
Distortion animations are GPU-accelerated, which supports smooth motion when the effects play on a slide.
Responsive and touch-friendly
Effects are optimized for desktops, tablets and phones, so sliders with distortion remain usable on touch devices.
Questions about Slider Revolution Distortion Effect Addon
Does this addon work without Slider Revolution?
