What’s new in Slider Revolution Sharing Addon 7.2.1
Version 7.2.1 · Sep 27, 2026
Latest
- FixedShare buttons in post modules: Content and its word or character limits broke or cut the share text, and a custom post type on plain permalinks shared raw placeholders or the front page's details
What it does
Slider Revolution sliders often carry the visuals you most want people to pass along: a product, a campaign image or a piece of visual storytelling. This addon gives those slides a built-in way to be shared. You attach a sharing action to a slide element, and a visitor can post it to a social network straight from the slider.
The addon works inside the Slider Revolution 7 editor and relies on its action system, so sharing feels like part of the slider rather than a separate widget. You decide which element triggers it and when. It requires the Slider Revolution plugin to be in place, which makes it a fit for sites that already build their sliders with it.
Best for
- Sites already building sliders with Slider Revolution 7
- Marketers promoting products or campaigns through visual slides
- Developers adding interactive actions to client sliders
Features
Built for Slider Revolution 7
The addon is made for Slider Revolution 7 by ThemePunch and adds social sharing to the sliders you already build, using the same editor and the same action system.
Sharing through slider actions
Sharing is added as an action on a slide element, so a click on that element can start a share without sending the visitor away from your page.
Control over when sharing triggers
Because it uses Slider Revolution's action system, you can choose which layer or moment in the slider activates sharing, instead of placing a fixed button.
Customizable sharing buttons
Sharing buttons and their behavior can be adjusted so they fit the look of your site and the way you want visitors to interact with a slide.
Major social networks supported
Slides can be shared on popular networks such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest, along with others, so visitors can use the platform they prefer.
Works on mobile and desktop
The share buttons are made to work across devices and screen sizes, so visitors on phones and tablets can share slides as easily as desktop users.
Share buttons in post modules
Share buttons used in post modules handle content with word or character limits, and custom post types on plain permalinks share the correct details.
Questions about Slider Revolution Sharing Addon
Do I need Slider Revolution to use this addon?
Yes. The addon extends Slider Revolution 7 by ThemePunch and requires the core Slider Revolution plugin. It adds sharing actions to that slider builder and does not work as a standalone sharing tool.
How do visitors share a slide?
You add a sharing action to an element in your slider. When a visitor interacts with that element, they can share the slide on a social network without leaving your site.
Which social networks can slides be shared on?
The addon supports major networks, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest, and others beyond those. Visitors can pick the platform they already use for sharing content.
Can I change how the sharing buttons look and behave?
Yes. Sharing buttons and behaviors can be customized to match your site's design. You can also pick which slider element or moment triggers sharing through Slider Revolution's action system.
Is Slider Revolution Sharing Addon free?
The code of Slider Revolution Sharing Addon is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Slider Revolution Sharing Addon is this?
Version 7.2.1, released Sep 27, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Slider Revolution Sharing Addon?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Slider Revolution Sharing Addon automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
