What’s new in Slider Revolution Sunbeam Effect Addon 7.2.6
Version 7.2.6 · Oct 26, 2026
Latest
- FixedRays Only drew its light faint and patchy since 7.1.7. It is now as bright as the full mode, and modules saved with Rays Only get the brighter light
What it does
Flat slides can look a little lifeless, especially when a hero section or banner needs some atmosphere. This add-on gives you a way to add depth with beams of light that appear to stream across a scene. You choose where the light source sits and how the rays are shaped, so the effect fits the layout you already have.
The add-on needs the Slider Revolution plugin and works inside its editor, so you adjust the lighting with the same controls you use for the rest of your slide. You can change the angle, intensity, color and softness of the rays, and add more than one light source when a scene calls for it. It suits portfolios, product slides, banners and homepage sliders.
Best for
- Designers building hero sliders with atmospheric lighting
- Portfolio sites that highlight work with light effects
- Product banners made in Slider Revolution 7
Features
Placeable light source
Put the light source anywhere in a slide and shape it, so the rays stream across your content from the direction that suits the layout.
Adjustable beam intensity
Set how bright the rays appear so the lighting matches the mood of the slide and sits well with the rest of your design.
Color control
Change the hue of the light rays to match your branding or give a slide a warm or cool glow.
Softness and spread settings
Control how diffuse the rays are and how far they reach, from a subtle glow to a bold, defined beam.
Multiple light sources
Add more than one sunbeam source to a slide to build layered lighting scenes with extra depth and atmosphere.
Built for Slider Revolution 7
The add-on is made for Slider Revolution 7 and uses its editor, so the light effects belong to your existing sliders.
Rays Only mode
Use Rays Only to draw just the light rays, and it renders with the same brightness as the full mode.
No coding needed
Settings live in the Slider Revolution editor, so you can build volumetric lighting with controls rather than writing code.
