What it does
Plain video in a slider can look flat next to the rest of a design. This add-on gives you a way to change how a film is drawn on screen, right inside Slider Revolution 7. A video can be redrawn live in characters, or it can glow in its own colors. The effect runs on a video layer or on the slide background, so you pick where it appears.
The add-on also reaches past video. Looks such as ASCII, Dither, Dot Matrix and Glitch each come with their own styles and colors, and they apply to image layers and image backgrounds too. A single look can be set for the whole module in its Video Effects settings, and the navigation tabs and thumbnails can take it as well. It requires the Slider Revolution plugin.
Best for
- Creative agencies building motion-heavy sliders
- Sites that use video backgrounds in Slider Revolution 7
- Designers wanting stylized looks on images and films
Features
Live character redrawing
Films are redrawn live in characters on a video layer or a slide background, which gives video content a distinct, stylized texture inside your slider.
Glowing video effects
Videos can glow in their own colors. The effect works on video layers and on slide backgrounds, so the film itself becomes the light source.
Glow that fills the layer
Glow can fill its layer with a film shown whole over its own blurred picture, or as a band across the slide. Blurred Fill and Blurred Band presets are included.
Dither, Dot Matrix and Glitch
Dither, Dot Matrix and Glitch sit alongside ASCII, and each look has its own styles and colors to adjust.
Works on images too
The looks apply to pictures as well as films, covering image layers, video layers and slide backgrounds within the same slider.
One look for the module
Set one look for the whole module in its Video Effects settings. It is drawn from the first paint, so the slider starts with the effect already in place.
Navigation can share the look
The navigation tabs and thumbnails can take the module look too, which keeps the controls visually matched to the slides.
Built for Slider Revolution 7
The add-on is made by ThemePunch for Slider Revolution 7 and works within the sliders you already build there.
Questions about Slider Revolution Video Effects Addon
Does this plugin work without Slider Revolution?
No. It is an add-on for Slider Revolution 7 and needs the Slider Revolution plugin to run. The effects are applied to layers and backgrounds inside your Slider Revolution sliders.
Where can I apply the video effects?
You can apply them on a video layer or on a slide background. The looks also work on image layers and image backgrounds, so a single slider can mix films and pictures with the same effect.
Which effects are included?
It includes live character redrawing and glow, plus ASCII, Dither, Dot Matrix and Glitch looks. Each look has its own styles and colors, and glow has presets such as Blurred Fill and Blurred Band.
Can I use one effect across the whole slider?
Yes. The module's Video Effects settings let you choose one look for the entire module. The navigation tabs and thumbnails can take that look as well, so the controls match the slides.
