What it does

Many sites want readers or customers to leave quick feedback, but building a rating system by hand takes code and care. This plugin lets you add star ratings to blog posts, ecommerce products, landing pages and other WordPress entries without writing code. You choose a rating scale, such as 3, 5, 10 or 12 stars, then pick an icon from the built-in library or upload your own SVG so the ratings match your brand. It requires Elementor on your site.

Fair results matter for ratings, so the plugin limits votes per IP address and checks each vote against the scale set in your settings, refusing values outside it. Ratings are stored in a distributed way to make tampering harder. Administrators get a dashboard widget, top rated lists and rating data on the posts list screen, and only administrators can reset ratings or import them from the Rating Form plugin. Microdata output can be turned on in the settings, and the display is responsive and retina ready.

Best for

  • Blogs that want readers to rate articles
  • Online stores collecting product ratings
  • Service sites displaying feedback on pages

Features

Flexible rating scales

Set ratings to 3, 5, 10 or 12 stars, or another count, so the scale fits the kind of feedback you want from visitors.

Icon library and SVG upload

Pick from a collection of predefined icons or upload your own SVG icons to give your rating display a look that matches your brand.

Vote limits per IP

Votes are limited per IP address, and requests without a valid verification token are held to a single vote per day to curb manipulation.

Microdata output

Turn on microdata from the settings so your rating information is embedded in the page markup as structured data for search engines.

Ratings on any content type

Add star ratings to blog posts, ecommerce products, pages, landing pages and other WordPress entries, with no coding needed to set them up.

Admin rating overview

See rating values and vote counts on the posts list screen, in a dashboard widget and in top rated lists for your content.

Responsive, retina ready display

Rating icons are built to display crisply across devices and screen resolutions, from phones to high density desktop monitors.

Import from Rating Form

Administrators can import existing rating data from the Rating Form plugin, and only administrators can reset stored rating data.

Questions about Stellar

Can I change how many stars the rating uses?

Yes. You can choose a scale of 3, 5, 10 or 12 stars, or another count. The scale is read from your settings, and any vote that falls outside that scale is refused, so ratings stay consistent across your site.

Can I use my own icons instead of stars?

Yes. Along with a library of predefined icons, you can upload your own SVG icons. This lets you match the rating visuals to your brand, for example using a custom shape or logo mark in place of a standard star.

How does it stop people from voting many times?

Votes are limited per IP address, and each voting request carries a verification token. A request without a valid token is limited to one vote per day. Ratings are also stored in a distributed way to make tampering harder.

Does it need any other plugin to work?

Yes, it requires Elementor to be active on your WordPress site. If you previously used the Rating Form plugin, administrators can import that rating data into this plugin.

Is Stellar free?

The code of Stellar is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.

Which version of Stellar is this?

Version 2.4.0, released Sep 18, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.

How do I update Stellar?

Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Stellar automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.

What does Stellar need?

Stellar needs Elementor installed and active.
