What it does
Running a membership site means deciding who gets access to which pages, files and lessons, then keeping those permissions in order as people join and leave. This plugin handles that inside WordPress. You create access rules for different user groups, place paywalls with customizable calls to action on protected content, and choose whether unauthorized visitors see a login popup, a custom message or a redirect. Menu items can also be shown or hidden based on membership status or role.
Beyond basic restriction, you can drip content on a schedule, protect downloadable files so only authorized members reach them, and run cohort-style courses. Admins can edit user roles and access in bulk, and roles can be kept in sync with your content permissions.
