What’s new in Timeline 1.0.4
What it does
Chronological content like company history, project milestones or an event schedule is hard to present clearly with standard page blocks. This addon gives you a dedicated timeline element inside Elementor, so you can lay out dated entries in order and style them to match the rest of your site. It requires Elementor, and it works with the WordPress post system as well as Elementor's own repeater field for manual entries.
You can start from one of more than 12 pre-made designs, choosing a vertical layout that runs top to bottom or a horizontal one that runs side to side. For blog timelines, entries are pulled from your posts, you can set how many appear, and visitors can filter them by category. Color and typography settings let you fit the timeline to your branding, and the layouts are responsive so they adjust to different screen sizes.
Best for
- Elementor sites presenting company history or milestones
- Blogs that want posts shown in chronological order
- Agencies building project or event timelines for clients
Features
Begin with a ready-made vertical or horizontal timeline template and adjust it to suit your page instead of building the layout from scratch.
Display entries top to bottom or side to side, depending on the space available on the page and the way you want the story to read.
Generate a timeline automatically from your blog posts, which is handy for presenting articles or news updates in chronological order.
Use Elementor's repeater field to create and customize each timeline entry by hand, useful for history pages, milestones or event sequences.
Let visitors filter blog post timelines by category so they can narrow the entries down to the topics they care about.
Choose how many posts appear on a timeline to keep its length manageable and the content easy to read.
Adjust colors and typography through the settings panels to match your site branding, with no coding required.
Timelines adjust to different screen sizes, so entries remain readable on phones, tablets and desktop screens.
Questions about Timeline
Do I need Elementor to use this timeline plugin?
Yes. The plugin is an addon for Elementor and requires it. The timeline element is added and edited inside the Elementor editor, and custom entries are built with Elementor's repeater field.
Can it build a timeline from my existing blog posts?
Yes. You can create timelines automatically from your WordPress posts. You can also control how many posts appear and let visitors filter the entries by category to find the topics they want.
Can I make a timeline that isn't based on posts?
Yes. Using Elementor's repeater field, you can add and customize each entry manually. This works well for company history, project milestones or any sequence of events that doesn't exist as blog posts.
Does it support horizontal timelines as well as vertical ones?
It does. Both vertical and horizontal layouts are supported, and the included pre-made designs cover both styles, so you can pick whichever direction fits your page layout.
Is Timeline free?
The code of Timeline is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of Timeline is this?
Version 1.0.4, released Aug 26, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update Timeline?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of Timeline automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
