What’s new in TMfeed 1.1
What it does
Most post widgets only display content on your own pages. This plugin adds a sharing layer on top: each widget can produce iframe embed code that visitors copy and paste into their own sites, so your posts can appear elsewhere on the web. Visitors can also adjust the embedded widget so it fits the look of the site where it lands, which makes the embed more practical for them to use.
You build everything inside Elementor, so it fits the page editor you already use. There are four widgets: Post List, Post Slider, News Ticker and WooCommerce Product Slider. You can set layout, colors, fonts and grid columns, pick vertical or horizontal orientation, and control which form fields appear. A settings dashboard in the admin keeps the options in one place, and the widgets support right-to-left languages.
Best for
- Blogs and news sites that want their posts shared elsewhere
- WooCommerce stores wanting embeddable product sliders
- Web designers building Elementor sites for content publishers
Features
Includes Post List, Post Slider, News Ticker and WooCommerce Product Slider widgets, giving you several formats for presenting posts and products on your pages.
Visitors can place your posts on their own websites by using the iframe embed code that each widget generates, extending where your content appears.
A button lets visitors copy the embed code with a single click, so sharing your widget takes less effort on their end.
Adjust layout, colors, fonts and grid columns so the widgets match your site's design, and let visitors personalize the widget after they embed it.
Display your content in either a vertical or horizontal orientation, depending on how the widget fits into the surrounding page design.
Enable or disable form fields, set default values and arrange the fields into unlimited columns with the grid setting.
Widgets scale for desktops, tablets and phones, and they support right-to-left languages for sites written in scripts such as Arabic or Hebrew.
An admin panel collects the plugin's settings in one place, so you can manage options without editing code.
Questions about TMfeed
Does this plugin need Elementor?
Yes. It is built as an Elementor addon, so its widgets live inside the Elementor editor. You add the Post List, Post Slider, News Ticker or WooCommerce Product Slider widgets to your pages the same way you place any other Elementor widget.
How do other sites embed my posts?
Each widget can provide iframe embed code. Visitors use the copy to clipboard button to grab the code in one click, then paste it into their own website. They can also personalize the embedded widget so it fits their site's look.
Can I show WooCommerce products with it?
Yes. One of the four widgets is a WooCommerce Product Slider, which displays your products in a slider. Like the post widgets, it can be embedded on other websites, letting your products appear beyond your own store.
Will it work on sites in right-to-left languages?
It includes right-to-left language support, so the widgets can display correctly on sites in RTL languages. The widgets are also responsive and adjust their layout for desktops, tablets and smartphones.
Is TMfeed free?
The code of TMfeed is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of TMfeed is this?
Version 1.1, released May 2, 2023. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update TMfeed?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of TMfeed automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
What does TMfeed need?
TMfeed needs Elementor installed and active.
