What’s new in Universal Video Player - YouTube/Vimeo/Self-Hosted - Elementor Widget 1.4.0
What it does
Sites that mix video sources often end up with players that look and behave differently on every page. The Universal Video Player - YouTube/Vimeo/Self-Hosted - Elementor Widget gives you one HTML5 player for all of them. You add the widget in Elementor with drag and drop, enter a YouTube or Vimeo video ID or the URL of a file you host yourself, and the player takes care of playback. Promotional clips, tutorials and other media can all sit in the same consistent frame.
The player is responsive by default, so it resizes to fit the layout and screen it appears on, including iOS and Android phones and tablets. If your site uses a fixed layout, an optional setting turns responsiveness off. You can choose any color scheme for the player, and you can switch on Google Analytics tracking to see how often each video is played. It works in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, and PSD files are included if you want to rework the design further.
