What it does
Community sites often have plenty going on, but member profiles rarely reflect it. Visitors land on a profile and see a name and a bio with no sense of how active that person is. This add-on fixes that by logging user actions and listing them in a dedicated Activity tab on each profile. Members can see what others have been contributing, and administrators get a clearer picture of who is engaged and how they take part in the community.
The plugin works alongside other UsersWP add-ons, including Friends, Followers and Groups, so friendships, follows and group participation can appear in the feed. It also tracks bbPress forum topics and replies, plus GeoDirectory listings, reviews and favorites, which suits directory and local business sites. A settings page under UsersWP, Addons, Activity lets you turn individual activity types on or off. Users can also be sorted by recent activity, and the plugin is translation ready.

Do I need UsersWP for this to work?
Yes. This is an add-on for the UsersWP plugin, and the Activity tab it creates appears on UsersWP user profiles. You configure it from the UsersWP settings area under Addons, then Activity.
What kinds of user activity does it track?
It can track new posts, comments, friendships, follows, group participation, bbPress forum topics and replies, and GeoDirectory listings, reviews and favorites. Some of these depend on having the related add-on or plugin active on your site.
Can I hide certain activity types from the feed?
Yes. The settings page lets you enable or disable specific activity types, so you can keep the feed focused on the actions that suit your community and leave out the rest.
