What it does
Sites that let visitors register often want those new users on their mailing list too, but asking people to sign up twice is clumsy and copying emails over by hand takes time. This addon solves that by placing a "Subscribe to our newsletter" checkbox on the UsersWP registration form. When a new user ticks the box, their details are added to your chosen MailChimp audience automatically, with no exporting or importing on your part.
Setup centers on two pieces of information from your MailChimp account: your API Key and your Audience ID. Once those are in place, the checkbox appears on registration and you can also add subscription forms elsewhere using a Gutenberg block, a widget or the [uwp_mailchimp] shortcode. It requires the UsersWP plugin and is fully translatable, so it fits sites running in languages other than English.
