What it does
Many sites need a simple, visible place to share time-sensitive news, such as a sale, a shipping offer or a service alert. Burying that message in a blog post or sidebar means many visitors miss it. This plugin solves that by adding a dedicated bar across the top of your pages, where announcements sit in plain view without changing the rest of your layout.
Setup happens through point-and-click settings, so you can add and edit notifications without writing code. Each bar can use a background color or background image, a thumbnail picture and a clickable custom link that sends visitors to a landing page or offer. For promotions, you can add a discount countdown timer. The design is responsive and retina ready, so the bar displays cleanly on phones, tablets and high-resolution screens.
Best for
- Online stores announcing sales or free shipping offers
- Business sites sharing service updates or important alerts
- Freelancers adding announcement bars to client websites
