WP Extended Pro
WP Extended Pro is a WordPress plugin by WP Extended that gathers over 40 modules into a single tool. It covers security, posts and pages, user roles, media handling and admin utilities, so you can manage many site tasks without stacking a separate plugin for each one.

What’s new in WP Extended Pro 3.3.0
- NewAdmin: Every module's settings now live under a single "WP Extended" screen, and moving between them no longer reloads the page.
- NewTranslations: Now ships in German, Spanish, French, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese and European Portuguese.
- NewCode Snippets: Added a Safe Mode switch to the editor, so you can turn every snippet off from the interface instead of by editing a URL.
- ImprovedLimit Login Attempts: Added an option to trust a proxy header when detecting a visitor's IP address, for sites behind Cloudflare or a load balancer.
- ImprovedGlobal: Updated module documentation links to our new documentation URLs.
- ImprovedMenu Editor: A role granted a page now receives that page's capability only while WordPress is serving that page, not for the rest of the admin session. A delegated page that saves over the REST API or AJAX renders read-only.
- ImprovedGlobal: Now requires a minimum of PHP 8.1.
- FixedMenu Editor: Fixed an issue where granting a role access to a page handed that role the page's capability everywhere in the admin, which could turn an Editor into a full administrator.
What it does
Many WordPress sites end up running a long list of small plugins, one for login protection, another for code snippets, another for menu tweaks. This plugin replaces that pile with one package of modules you can switch on as needed. Fewer separate plugins means fewer settings screens to track and fewer chances for tools to clash with each other. The modules are grouped around utilities, security, posts and pages, user management, images and media, and organization.
All module settings sit under a single WP Extended screen in the admin, and you can move between them without the page reloading. Security modules include login attempt limits, with an option to trust a proxy header for sites behind Cloudflare or a load balancer. A code snippets editor has a Safe Mode switch to turn every snippet off at once, and a menu editor lets you grant roles access to specific admin pages. The interface is available in several languages, including German, Spanish, French and Dutch.
Best for
- Site owners tired of running many single-purpose plugins
- Agencies managing client sites with shared editor access
- Admins who want login protection and code snippets together
Features
Turn on only the tools you need from a set of over 40 modules covering security, content, users, media and site organization.
Every module's settings live under one WP Extended screen, and switching between modules happens without a full page reload.
Restrict repeated login tries, with an option to read a trusted proxy header so visitor IPs are detected correctly behind Cloudflare or a load balancer.
Add custom code through a built-in snippets editor, and use the Safe Mode switch to disable every snippet from the interface if something breaks.
Give a role access to a chosen admin page. That role receives the page's capability only while viewing that page, and some delegated pages render read-only.
Handle content tasks with modules for bulk editing, content scheduling and custom post types, all managed from the same plugin.
Work with images and media files using bulk resizing, compression and organization tools inside the media modules.
Use the plugin in German, Spanish, French, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese or European Portuguese.

Questions about WP Extended Pro
Can I use only some of the modules?
Yes. The plugin is built around separate modules, so you can enable the ones that fit your site and leave the rest off. All of their settings are managed from the single WP Extended screen in the admin.
Does the login protection work if my site uses Cloudflare?
The Limit Login Attempts module has an option to trust a proxy header when detecting a visitor's IP address. This is meant for sites behind Cloudflare or a load balancer, where the real visitor IP would otherwise be hidden.
What happens if a code snippet breaks my site?
The code snippets editor includes a Safe Mode switch. Turning it on disables every snippet at once from the interface, so you can find the problem without hunting for a special URL.
Can I give editors access to an admin page without making them administrators?
The Menu Editor lets you grant a role access to a specific page. The role gets that page's capability only while WordPress is serving that page, and pages that save through the REST API or AJAX appear read-only.
Is WP Extended Pro free?
The code of WP Extended Pro is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of WP Extended Pro is this?
Version 3.3.0, released Sep 10, 2026. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update WP Extended Pro?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of WP Extended Pro automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
