What’s new in WP Grid Builder LearnDash 1.3.0
- NewSupport for Course Grid add-on merged into Learndash core.
What it does
LearnDash handles courses well, but presenting a catalog of them in a clear, browsable layout takes extra work. This add-on brings LearnDash course data into the WP Grid Builder card builder. You place blocks for progress bars, completion percentages, step counts, lesson totals and prices directly on your course cards, and learners can see where they stand and what a course contains before they open it. Grids can be combined with WP Grid Builder filtering, which helps students find the material they need.
The plugin fits sites that already run LearnDash and use WP Grid Builder for layouts, from small course sites to larger educational platforms. It works with the LearnDash Course Grid features, so ribbons, descriptions and custom button texts you created there remain usable. Status blocks show whether a course, lesson or topic is completed, in progress or locked, and a release schedule block tells learners when content becomes available. Two demo cards give you a starting point to adjust to your own design.
Best for
- LearnDash course sites wanting filterable course catalogs

- Agencies building e-learning sites with WP Grid Builder

Questions about WP Grid Builder LearnDash
What do I need for this add-on to work?
It is an add-on that connects two existing tools: the WP Grid Builder plugin and the LearnDash LMS. You need both running on your site, since the add-on supplies LearnDash course blocks for WP Grid Builder's card builder.
Can learners see their own progress on course cards?
Yes. The course progress bar block and progress percent block show each learner's advancement directly on the card, and status blocks show whether a course, lesson or topic is completed, in progress or locked.
Will my existing LearnDash Course Grid ribbons and buttons still work?
The add-on supports the LearnDash Course Grid features, so ribbons, descriptions and custom button texts you already created there can still be used in grids built with WP Grid Builder.
Do I need to code to build course grids?
No coding is needed. You build cards in WP Grid Builder's card builder by adding the LearnDash blocks, and you can begin from one of the two included demo cards and adjust it.
Is WP Grid Builder LearnDash free?
The code of WP Grid Builder LearnDash is licensed under the GPL, so anyone may use, change and share it. GPL Feast is a paid service: a plan or a single purchase gives you the download and automatic updates. The developer's own support, licence key and online services are not included.
Which version of WP Grid Builder LearnDash is this?
Version 1.3.0, released Jun 4, 2025. New versions appear here when the developer publishes them, and members get them as automatic updates.
How do I update WP Grid Builder LearnDash?
Install the free GPL Feast Updater on your site and connect it with your API key. It installs new versions of WP Grid Builder LearnDash automatically and keeps a backup, so you can roll back.
