What’s new in WPForms Form Abandonment 1.16.0
- FixedAbandoned entries could be added to published forms without Form Abandonment enabled.
What it does
Many visitors start a form, type a name or an email address, and then close the tab. Without a way to keep that information, those people simply disappear. This addon saves the data as soon as someone begins filling out fields, so a partial entry is stored even when the form is never submitted. You decide whether to keep every partial entry or only the ones that include contact details such as an email address or phone number.
The addon works inside the WPForms drag and drop builder, so you enable it per form without learning a new tool. Abandoned entries appear in your WordPress dashboard, where you can view, manage and export them. It filters out repeat partial submissions from the same visitor, can send follow-up messages to people who left a form, and connects with email marketing and CRM services like Constant Contact, Mailchimp, AWeber and HubSpot. It also works alongside the Save and Resume feature for longer forms.
Best for
- Businesses collecting leads through WordPress contact or quote forms
- Marketers following up with visitors through email or CRM tools
- Sites with long forms that visitors often leave unfinished
