What it does
Many WordPress sites already rely on WPForms for contact, order and registration forms, but collecting money usually means bolting on a separate checkout or sending people to another payment page. This add-on lets you take Mercado Pago payments directly in your forms. It is aimed at sites serving a Latin American audience, where Mercado Pago is a familiar way to pay, and it supports several currencies used across the region.
Setup happens inside the WPForms interface you already know. You add and configure Mercado Pago payment fields in your existing forms, then style those forms to match your branding. The forms are responsive, so they work on phones as well as desktops, and payment status notifications keep you informed about each transaction. It fits nonprofits collecting donations, small shops taking orders and service providers handling bookings or subscription payments.
Best for
- Nonprofits in Latin America collecting online donations
- Small businesses taking product orders through WPForms
- Service providers handling bookings or subscription payments
